Funny (and totally true) decade-old anecdote:
My college German professor was so cool, she let me bring in Napster-burnt CDs of Bushido, Nina MC, & Die Fantastischen Vier, translating them for the entire class to learn slang from.
Until, that is, certain lyrics made them edelweiss cheeks flush with embarrassment!
